I think it is time to start understanding the new place that we are going to call home in years to come.

Tenteram Peak is located within the Whampoa SMC. A very small SMC, only slightly bigger than the smallest but most famous Potong Pasir.

What I really want to know is what the MP going to do to bring development to Whampoa.

The Traffic

The current plan of Tenteram Peak basically going to occupy half of the remaining land available. However, I did found that the only road to leave the estate, Jalan Bahagia and Jalan Kim Keat is rather narrow and forming a bottleneck.

I don't think the existing road network would be able to support the future traffic load. Not to mention if the land reserved for education development emerged become a school.

My Choice

We hold the queque number of 2x and have since made the unit selection. We would like to share a few salient points in our selection criteria. Of course, we understand that you have your priority which is likely different from ours and we would like to hear from you in the comment section also.

We have choosen Block 525 because the following factor:
1. No afternoon sun

2. Shielded from direct noise from the expressway by cluster 117A

3. One of the best block enjoying the most far away distance from the expressway, in comparison with Block with similar attribute (Block 539, Block 541)

4. No full un-blocked city view but with pretty good viewing angle, as below based on my best estimate

Unit facing the city having the best take up rate in comparison to unit facing North West. While unit with afternoon sun exposure is traditionally not popular, however, the trend to ignore potential high noise from the highway is really surprising.

The invited customer is about 4 to 5 person per day.

The Overview of the Tile with Skirting

To use this tiles throughout the living, dining and bedroom is not my first choice...

The white tile for the bath room wall tiles is a disaster. The feature wall tile is too 'non-feature' for me. The floor tile is too coarse for my feet... Sorry being not supportive.
